2027 Election: Prof Kailani Alleges Conspiracy Against President Tinubu

Director General of the Confederation of All Progressives Congress Support Groups (CASG), Prof. Kailani Muhammad, has issued a warning to President Bola Tinubu regarding an alleged conspiracy against him as the 2027 presidential election approaches.

Speaking at a ceremony in Abuja, where he received an Award of Excellence in National Service from the Supreme Head of the Nzuko Nd’ Imo Organisation (NNIO), Prof. Kailani highlighted the existence of a conspiracy orchestrated by the Northern Elders Forum and various groups in the North.

Prof. Kailani advised President Tinubu to be vigilant and recommended the appointment of CASG members within his administration. He argued that such appointments would reinforce their loyalty and dedication to the All Progressives Congress (APC) government, stating, “If he does that, we will definitely back him. We want him to do the right thing. He should come and uplift the support groups. Up till now, we have not seen any appointments.”

He emphasized that including CASG members in the government could lead to economic prosperity and physical upliftment for the country.

Additionally, CASG President Prof. Chris Ogbonna praised the group’s role in realizing Tinubu’s presidency, asserting that their efforts have strengthened democracy in Nigeria.
