After reportedly being snubbed by his father, King Charles, Prince Harry has flown to Nigeria alongside his wife Meghan to continue promoting the Invictus Games.

Prince Harry had been in the UK this week to advocate for the Invictus Games before departing for Nigeria on Friday. However, despite his presence, King Charles allegedly did not join his son at St Paul’s Cathedral for a service commemorating ten years of the event. Instead, the King attended a garden party at Buckingham Palace, citing being “too busy” to meet with the prince.

While the King may have been too occupied to engage with Prince Harry, reports indicate that he found time to discuss the King’s Foundation with former England football captain David Beckham. The two were spotted in Highgrove, Gloucestershire, on Thursday, engaging in discussions about charitable endeavors.

Beckham, known for his support of the royal family, previously met with King Charles shortly after his coronation at the London Fashion Awards. Reflecting on his admiration for the monarchy, Beckham expressed excitement about meeting the King and reaffirmed his longstanding appreciation for the royal family.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan commenced their Nigerian visit with a warm welcome at the Nigerian Defence Headquarters in Abuja, where they engaged with army wives and high-ranking military officials to promote the Invictus Games.
