PLAN TO FALSELY LABEL HIS EXCELLENCY ALH. YAHAYA BELLO A SECURITY THREAT UNCOVERED

The Yahaya Bello Media Office has uncovered a high-level conspiracy orchestrated by certain disgruntled enemies of the nation and individuals involved in the “Project Bring Down Yahaya Bello.” These entities aim to falsely accuse His Excellency Alh. Yahaya Bello of sponsoring the #EndBadGovernance protests occurring nationwide.

Despite typically ignoring the baseless claims of attention-seeking blackmailers, we find it necessary to address the recent falsehoods propagated by Jackson Ude. Ude, a known pawn in the hands of unpatriotic Nigerians, published a fake, malicious, and unintelligent report alleging the involvement of His Excellency in the ongoing protests. This response is imperative due to the implications for national security, especially as some protesters have displayed foreign flags.

Jackson Ude’s claims are reckless and malicious. Yahaya Bello is a dedicated patriot who has consistently invested his time, resources, and energy into fostering a united and prosperous Nigeria. His Excellency played a crucial role in resolving a major crisis between Northern food transporters and their Southern counterparts, preventing a potential national crisis and earning commendations from national leaders.

In the lead-up to the 2023 Presidential Poll, Yahaya Bello, alongside colleagues, challenged and overturned the Naira Redesign Policy at the Supreme Court, a critical intervention during a near-collapse of the nation. During the Presidential Poll, he mobilized the people of Kogi State to secure a victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and significantly contributed as the Youth Mobilization Committee Chairman, reflecting his belief in President Tinubu’s leadership.

Jackson Ude, a notorious blackmailer, has a history of fabricating news to extort politically exposed individuals, serving the interests of anti-democratic forces and enemies of Nigeria. His latest social media post absurdly alleging Yahaya Bello’s involvement in a fictional military coup is another tactic by powerful entities to drive a wedge between the President and Alh. Yahaya Bello.

We are aware of Ude’s connections to criminal interests who use him for their political errands. Given his multiple defamation cases, his criminal blackmail enterprise is evident. No rational person should believe anything from this serial blackmailer, who is essentially a persona non grata in Nigeria.

Former Governor Yahaya Bello is a steadfast patriot and democrat who supports Nigeria’s democratic status. He has devoted considerable energy, time, and resources to supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, remaining loyal and committed.

We call on the Police, Department of State Services, and other relevant agencies to investigate Ude’s claims thoroughly and bring him to justice. This is a national security matter that demands serious attention. Legal actions will be pursued to hold Ude accountable for his crimes.

For the record, even in challenging times, His Excellency Yahaya Bello has remained committed to the success of the All Progressives Congress government. He continues to work for Nigeria’s progress, development, and stability, even in a private capacity. His commitment to President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda is unwavering.

The intelligence agencies of Nigeria are competent and do not need criminal elements to uncover treasonable activities. We trust in the security community’s ability to address this matter appropriately.

We categorically and unequivocally state that His Excellency Alh. Yahaya Bello is not involved in any act to destabilize the country or disturb its peace, harmony, and greatness. We urge the public to disregard Jackson Ude’s falsehoods and support President Tinubu’s efforts to restore Nigeria’s greatness.
